Replied to a letter from Scotland's for Peace saying that he would vote against the replacement of Trident -
"I can confirm that I would vote against the Replacement of Trident, and find nuclear weapons an obscene and immoral presence on Scottish Shores. In the current economic climate it is utter madness to commit £100 billion of public money to this. In a balanced Parliament commitment to this expenditure is the first thing that should be cut, and this money should be re-invested into our vital public services."
