Replied to a letter from Scotland's for Peace saying that he would vote against the replacement of Trident
"The billions of pounds it costs to purchase and maintain nuclear weapons would be better spent on creating jobs, the NHS, education, social housing - all of which would improve the lives of the people of Scotland. I will vote against the replacement of Trident and will encourage others todo so."
